Sangwoo Kim, Violin

Violinist Sangwoo Kim has studied and performed extensively around the world and across a broad range of genres. Whether it be playing with the Seoul Philharmonic or recording movie soundtracks such as the Academy Award winning film “Parasite”, Sangwoo is equally at home on the stage or in the recording studio. He has also worked in many Broadway musicals, even being cast in the Korean premier of the Paula Vogel play, “Indecent”. A graduate of Indiana University and the Korea National University of the Arts, Sangwoo is currently pursuing a Doctor of Musical Arts degree at the Peabody Institute at Johns Hopkins under Professor Judith Ingolfsson.
