Pianist Daniel Weiser recently relocated to the Savannah area.  He is the founder and Artistic Director of AmiciMusic, a musical organization he started in Asheville, NC and continued after he moved to Baltimore, MD.  He is now starting an AmiciMusic series in Savannah and this will be his debut concert in the region.  He will team up with another newcomer to Savannah, pianist Tim Evans, for this exciting holiday concert.  “FOUR-HAND HOLIDAY” is a fun program featuring jazzy arrangements of holiday classics like “Sleigh Ride” and “Jingle Bells” plus virtuoso versions of the “Nutcracker Suite” by Tchaikovsky and the “Blue Danube Waltz” by Strauss.  Dr. Weiser always talks about the music before it is performed to put it in socio-historical context.  He also sets up a special “PianoCam” where you can watch up close the beautiful ballet of four hands and twenty fingers on a single piano.  This program will definitely get you into the holiday spirit!!
