Join us for this exciting program featuring fantastic piano trios by living composers. We will perform three powerful works, including a very fun Trio based on the Tango, Samba, and the Blues by Dutch composer Heleen Verleur; the amazing “Cafe Music” by Paul Schoenfield with touches of Jazz, Ragtime, Dixieland, and Klezmer; and a majestic neo-Romantic Piano Trio by Stephen Dankner (who will hopefully be in attendance) that sounds like Brahms and Rachmaninoff. The wonderful Borowsky siblings (Emmanuel on violin and Frances on cello) will join me for this incredible program that will hopefully give you a new appreciation of contemporary music.
