October 16-19, 2025

South African cellist Jacques-Pierre Malan returns to Asheville just a few weeks after our thrilling “Cello Mania” program to perform this beautiful and powerful program of music that explores the Jewish soul through the cello.  We will perform works by Jewish composers including Ernest Bloch and David Popper as well as other composers who were inspired by the Jewish liturgy such as Max Bruch.  We will also perform some very fun Klezmer-inspired music.  You will not want to miss it!
