“CELLO MANIA”

Great works for Cello and Piano by
Faure, Piatti, Paganini, Martinu, and Chopin

October 14-15, 2025

AmiciMusic, the exciting new chamber music organization in Savannah, begins its fall concert series with a thrilling program featuring South African cellist Jacques-Pierre Malan and pianist/Artistic Director Daniel Weiser.  Both musicians bring a passion and excitement to their performances that produce some wonderful sparks and amazing music. On this concert, they will perform virtuosic works by Paganini, Martinu, and Piatti, plus the beautiful Faure Elegie, and the very lyrical, but unfairly neglected, Chopin Cello Sonata.

We continue our collaboration with this warm and welcoming Church on Skidaway Island with wonderful acoustics and a beautiful Sanctuary.  Free will donations will be gratefully accepted at the door or you can click on the “Home” link below to donate to AmiciMusic to help us fund our outreach programs into schools and Assisted Living homes.
