A program featuring a powerful, but neglected Piano Trio for clarinet, cello, and piano by the Romantic French composer, Vincent D’Indy! We will also perform the early Piano Trio for the same instrumental combination by Beethoven, a piece much closer in sound to Haydn and Mozart than the later Beethoven.
Two other small pieces by Friedrich Voight and Emil Hartmann fill out the program. Join us at our wonderful home in the Guilford area for a truly intimate chamber music concert with some exciting music you rarely hear along with some great food and drink!
