“MUSIC of REFLECTION”
A Celebration of Slichot

Music of transformation and reflection
to help usher in the High Holy Days

August 28, 2021

Join us for another free program in our MUSIC and MEANING series at Baltimore Hebrew Congregation.  This concert, entitled “MUSIC and REFLECTION” will precede the special Slicoth Saturday evening Services at BHC and will take place in the Sanctuary on the new Steinway piano donated by Shirley Kaufman.  Music will begin at 7:00pm and will last about an hour.  There will then be a short 15 minute break in which audience members are free to leave or they can stay for a short and meditative 45 minute Service following the concert that will also contain beautiful music which the same musicians will perform.  This series is made possible by a generous gift from the Peggy and Yale Gordon Foundation

Flutist Novoa Champion along with the siblings Emmanuel (violin) and Frances (cello) Borowsky will join pianist/Art. Dir. Daniel Weiser for this concert, which will include reflective and meditative music by Bach, Mozart, Beethoven, Debussy, Faure, Bolling, and more.

You must be vaccinated to attend this concert and masks are required.
