“OVER THERE”
A celebration of songs from WWI for Veterans Day

A powerful show created and directed by Francis Cullinan
featuring singers Jacquelyn Culpepper and Dan Boye

November 10-11, 2018

A special show commemorating the 100th anniversary of the end of World War I.   Acclaimed Director Francis Cullinan has created, directed, and will narrate this program that features some of the great songs of the era.  Soprano Jacquelyn Culpepper and Bass-Baritone Dan Boye, both from Davidson College, will join pianist/Artistic Director Daniel Weiser in this nostalgic and thought-provoking show.  They will perform fun hits from the era including “Alexander’s Ragtime Band and Give My Regards to Broadway,” patriotic songs such as “You’re a Grand Old Flag” and “God Bless America” and some of the more tragic songs about the horrors of war including “I Didn’t Raise my Boy to be a Soldier” and “Danny Boy.”   Come celebrate all of our Veterans on this special program for Veterans Day weekend.  All Vets are half-price at both locations.
