An International Program of Italian Arias, German Lieder,
French Melodies, and American Spirituals

On this program, we are thrilled to showcase Daniel Rich, an exciting, young, powerful, and expressive baritone who will be joining the prestigious Lindemann Young Artist Development Program at the Metropolitan Opera this fall.  Daniel Rich graduated from Morgan State University in 2017 and got his Masters Degree from Manhattan School of Music.  He was the winner of the 2016 Harlem Opera Theater Vocal Competition and the 2018 Mario Lanza Institute Vocal Competition and has performed.  He has just returned from performing at the prestigious Spoleto Festival in South Carolina.  On this program, Mr. Rich will perform some Italian Arias by Tosti and Donaudy, French melodies by Ravel, German Lieder by Mahler and some fantastic American Spirituals arranged by William Grant Still, Margaret Bonds, Moses Hogan, and more.
