We are excited to present two outstanding string players, violinist James Stern and cellist Eric Kutz, on this program.  Both are highly acclaimed performers and chamber musicians who have played in top venues around the world and on numerous Summer Festivals.  Stern has performed in Carnegie Hall and Alice Tully Hall in NYC as well as the White House and National Gallery in D.C.  Kutz is a member of the Grant Park Orchestra in Chicago in the summers and has also played with the New York Philharmonic and the National Symphony.  They both teach now at the University of Maryland in College Park.  They will perform two of the most difficult violin/cello duos in the literature by Maurice Ravel and Zoltan Kodaly on this program and then will join pianist/Artistic Director Daniel Weiser in Beethoven’s exciting “Ghost” Piano Trio

Home of Daniel and Kisha Weiser
208 Northway, Baltimore

Another intimate House Concert at the Weisers’ beautiful Guilford home.  Come experience chamber music the way it is meant to be heard—in a true chamber.  Light food and drinks are included as well.  Talk to the artists and feel the vibrations and power of the music surround you.  Dr. Weiser will also talk about the pieces before they are played to give you some socio-historical context. Seating is very limited and reservations are required.  Please do sign up as soon as you can since this program will likely sell out.  You must be vaccinated to attend!  It is likely that masks will also be required as the Delta variant continues to spread.

To reserve seats, please click on the yellow “Add to Cart” button below.  You can then buy multiple seats on the following screen.  You do not need a PayPal account to purchase seats—just a major credit card.  I will send a confirmation e-mail when you make your purchase.  I do not send out any tickets.  If you prefer to purchase with a credit card over the phone, please call Dan at 802-369-0856.

Church of the Redeemer
5603 N Charles Street, Baltimore, MD 21210

We continue our new and exciting collaboration with the beautiful Church of the Redeemer at 5603 N. Charles Ave, which has been incredibly welcoming to AmiciMusic as we have had to make some last minute change of venues due to the Covid surge.  We are thrilled to find a new “home” in the area and we look forward to many more concerts there with their great acoustics and spectacular large stained glass window (formerly featured in Life Magazine) behind us as we play.  The suggested donation for the general public is $20 and for Church members, $15.  You can donate at the door, but also by clicking on the yellow “Donate” button below, which helps us monitor the crowd size a little better during this long pandemic.  Please make sure you use the main entrance, which is actually on Melrose St. (not the Charles St. entrance)—there is a large parking lot there as well.
