Join us for this very special Lecture/Recital featuring Denis von Meck, a direct descendant of both Tchaikovsky and his famous patron, Nadezhda von Meck.  He is the co-founder and President of the philanthropic Von Meck organization that is based in Moscow.  Von Meck will talk about Tchaikovsky’s fascinating life with a special focus on his remarkable relationship with the patron who helped support him for many years, but never actually met him. In numerous letters to his benefactor, Tchaikovsky describes his life as a working composer and the compositional process.

Pianists Daniel Weiser and Daniel Lau will intersperse the lecture with four-hand piano performances of several of Tchaikovsky’s works, including “The Seasons”, “Sleeping Beauty”, and “The Nutcracker Suite.”  Young cellist Alexander Yang will also perform some of his Rococo Variations.

This is for one night only and should be a spectacular event.  Buy your seats now!
