Dvarionas, Piazzolla, & more

September 8-10, 2022

Join us for this thrilling program featuring violinist Emmanuel Borowsky, cellist Frances Borowsky and pianist/Art. Dir. Daniel Weiser performing music with strong folk influences, including works by Bruch, Bloch, Janacek, Popper, Piazzolla, and more.  Pianist Elizabeth Borowsky will also join us on the final performance.  From Bruch’s Kol Nidre and Bloch’s Nigun, based on Jewish melodies, to Janacek’s Moravian-inspired Pohadka;  from Popper’s Hungarian Rhapsody ,to the Argentinian tangos of Astor Piazzolla, this is all exciting and rhythmic music with memorable tunes.  The Borowsky siblings have performed in over 30 countries around the world as well as celebrated venues such as Carnegie Hall and the Kennedy Center.  Mr. Weiser is the 1996 U.S. Artistic Ambassador of Music who has also performed in a wide variety of countries, including Egypt, Syria, Pakistan, Thailand, and Israel.
