The amazing young violinist Irina Rostomashvili returns to Savannah to perform this beautiful concert highlighting the amazing music of these three interconnected Romantic composers. Young Johannes Brahms entered into the home of Robert and Clara Schumann in 1853 and was immediately taken in as a part of the family. Robert helped him get his first works published and wrote incredible reviews about his music. Within six months, though, Robert attempted suicide and would spend his final two years in a mental asylum. Brahms visited him there often, but also spent many days helping Clara and their eight children. They would become very close friends and possibly lovers. After Robert died, though, they decided not to continue their relationship, but maintained a life-long friendship that reveals their deep emotional bond
