AmiciMusic begins the New Year with an exciting program of piano trios filled with great melodies inspired by folk music from around the world. We will perform Franz Joseph Hadyn’s “Gypsy” Trio, Joaquin Turina’s Trio no. 2 with great Spanish tunes, and the amazing “Dumky” Trio by Anton Dvorak influenced by the folk tunes of his native Czech Republic. Our guest artists are German-born violinist Frank Haemmer and Baltimore-born cellist Elise Pittenger, who currently teaches and performs in Brazil. Artistic Director Daniel Weiser will collaborate on the piano. You won’t want to miss these very lyrical and thrilling works in the perfect intimate setting for chamber music. Sign up below!
