Sadly, this will be the final concert in our Guilford House Concert series so we thought we would go out with a bang (literally). There is nothing quite like a powerful two piano concert in our intimate living room. You will be enveloped and permeated by sound! This program was one we did during Covid but never got to perform for a live audience. It features some exciting Variations, including Busoni’s Variations on a theme by Mozart, Saint-Saens Variations on a Theme by Beethoven, Brahms’ Variations on a theme by Haydn, and Schumann’s own Andante and Variations. Daniel Lau and Daniel Weiser, who met while pursuing graduate degrees at Peabody, will tickle the ivories of the two grand pianos at 208 Northway for one last concert before the big move to Savannah, GA. We will do two performances (and could possibly open to a third performance on Sunday, July 21 in afternoon if there was interest). We hope you can join us at our home for this very grand finale!
