Carol Duermit is originally from Cincinnati, Ohio, and moved to North Carolina in 1996. She has lived in both Hendersonville and Asheville and been involved in the music scene in both places. From fronting blues and jazz bands as a lead singer to doing community theater, both musicals and non-musicals, she loves staying involved from a participation standpoint as well as a supporter in the audience for all of her musically talented friends. Most recently she was seen at Diana Wortham Theater in Imagine, a benefit for the Haywood Street Congregation Fresco. Her favorite theater roles include Mama Rose in Gypsy, Aldonza / Dulcinea in Man of La Mancha, Frau Blucher in Young Frankenstein, and Golde in “Bark!” She daylights as a Mortgage Banker with Atlantic Bay Mortgage Group.
